Cirrus chooses mAint - the best technology to accelerate performance in wind!

Independent Service provider (ISP) Cirrus Wind Services has adopted mAint, the AI powered operations platform built by ScotAi, beginning with the mAint Works cluster.

mAint Works brings asset and vehicle management, site management, people and inventory into a single connected system. For an independent service provider, those three things are the business. Knowing which technicians are available and qualified, which vehicles and specialist equipment are where, and whether the right parts are on hand before a team travels is the difference between a job closed out on the first visit and a return trip that nobody wants to pay for.

Cirrus went looking for the best technology available rather than the most familiar. The decision came down to two things: what the platform does today, and where it is heading.

"Our clients deserve better than the tools much of this industry still runs on," said Rob McGilivary, Operations Manager at Cirrus Wind. "We deploy people, vehicles and kit every day, and when that information sits in separate systems someone is always waiting on an answer. mAint is already doing real work for us. What the ScotAi team have planned for the next year is genuinely exciting, and being part of that is a big reason we chose them."

Moray Melhuish, Co-Founder of ScotAi, said: "Cirrus are the kind of operator who moves first. They were not looking for a system to tidy up the way things have always been done, they were looking for an advantage for their clients and for their own business. That is exactly who we build for."

mAint is used across more than 70 windfarms, alongside deployments in aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas, and defence. The wind capability includes competence and WINDA certification checking before a technician attends site, live turbine and substation status, tagout and lockout, and alerts when teams overrun their predicted time on site.

Both companies look forward to discussing the collaboration at WindEnergy Hamburg this month.
