Green Cat Renewables, a leading specialist in renewable energy consultancy, has announced the full-scale adoption of mAint Access, marking the fourth phase of its digital transformation partnership with Scottish tech firm ScotAi.
The deployment follows a series of successful pilot programmes where Green Cat reported efficiency gains using ScotAi’s modular platform. By integrating the new mAint Access module, Green Cat now manages the entire site lifecycle—from induction and access control to operational oversight—through a single, data-driven dashboard.
Elevating Industry Standards Green Cat initially utilised the ScotAi 'Smart Manuals' and 'Assess' modules to digitise complex documentation and competency tracking. However, it was the results from mAint Inspect - which reduced the time required for inspection processes while raising quality benchmarks - that prompted the bespoke development of the Access module.
Designed collaboratively to meet the rigorous safety and compliance demands of the wind sector, mAint Access provides real-time visibility, on site access, egress and operational control, ensuring that "boots on the ground" are supported by the most accurate data available.
Cameron Sutherland, Technical Director at Green Cat Renewables, commented:
""Our collaboration with ScotAI, helping them to develop the mAint platform, is leading to better tools for our engineering staff, enhancing their capabilities and enabling them to do their jobs more safely and effectively. We are proud to be at the forefront of adopting this technology within the renewables sector."
Mel Owen, Head of Asset Management at Green Cat Renewables, also noted:
""Since going live with mAint Inspect, we've been achieving notable efficiency gains while actually improving the quality of our output. Working with ScotAi on mAint Access was the logical next step. Both our internal team and external maintenance providers have been engaging positively with the Access module, leading to benefits across our Asset Management function."
Moray Melhuish, CCO and Co-Founder at ScotAi, added:
""Green Cat Renewables is a fantastic example of an industry leader driving innovation rather than just reacting to it. By working closely with them to develop mAint Access, we’ve combined deep domain expertise with our modular technology to solve genuine pain points in site management. Their progressive adoption of four modules proves the tangible value that integrated digital tools bring to engineering services."
See the Technology in Action at All-Energy 2026 Both Green Cat Renewables and ScotAi will be showcasing the mAint platform and their wider service offerings at the All-Energy Exhibition & Conference in Glasgow.
